Build your confidence and prepare for tournament day with Mid Mo Mahjong’s Tournament Prep Class. This interactive session is designed for players who understand the basics of American Mahjong and want to become more comfortable with competitive play.

Participants will practice playing at a tournament pace while reviewing common rules, scoring procedures, table rotations, penalties, and player etiquette. We will also cover strategies for making faster decisions, managing the Charleston, selecting hands, and keeping the game moving.

During the class, you will learn and practice:

• Timed tournament-style games

• Tournament rules and scoring

• Table rotations and scorecard procedures

• Common penalties and how to avoid them

• Efficient Charleston and hand-selection strategies

• Proper calls, exposures, Joker exchanges, and declarations

• How to verify Mahjong before tiles are returned

• Tournament etiquette and expectations

This class is ideal for first-time tournament players, Rising Players, or anyone who wants additional practice before an upcoming event. Participants should already know how to play American Mahjong independently and use the current National Mah Jongg League card.
